PET Sheet/Film

PET sheet series includes APET, PETG, GAG. This is a new material sheet product developed rapidly in recent years.

Excellent comprehensive performance, high transparency, good strength and easy to post-processing are PET sheet's merits. As a result of good strength, the same thickness of the product, the protective effect is significantly better than PVC sheet.

If the same intensity is compared, we can use thinner PET sheet. So although the price of PET sheet is a little bit higher. But the actual cost increase is not big. More basically is the glittering and translucent and transparent of PET sheet.

Advantages:

Compared with the widely used PVC film, A-PET has the following advantages:

1. The proportion of light: the proportion of PET than PVC 1.33,1.38,3.7% lower proportion

2. High strength: PET film strength than PVC film is more than 20% higher, low-temperature impact resistance performance is better, -40℃ capability brittle, so we usually use thinner than 10% film to replace PVC.

3. Good folding endurance. PET film does nor appear crease since crack like PVC, more suitable for the surface decoration of file etc.

4. APET film (PVC film with high transparency, especially shiny bluish) than the PVC film is good, more suitable for the exquisite packaging.

APET products without pollution, crystal, high transparency, good smoothness, strong impact resistance, can widely film according to customer requirements.

Application:

APET film/SHEET is widely used in cosmetics, food, electronics, toys, printing and other industries packaging. Such as various kinds of blister packaging, folding box, rubber tube, window film etc.

PETG. full name poly(ethylene terephthalateco-1, 4-cyclohexylenedimethylene terephthalate), It is a copolyester of transparent, amorphous. The common copolymer monomer of PETG is 1,4-(CHDM,cylclohexylenedimethylene).

The PETG performance is different from that of PET. The PETG sheet has good toughness and high impact strength. It's impact strength is 3-10times that of modified polyacrylates. It has a wide processing range. High mechanical strength and excellent flexibility. Compared with the APET sheet. PETG sheet has high transparency, good gloss, easy printing and environmental protection.

PETG plastic sheet has the characteristics of APET plastic sheet. It's main feature is outstanding heat sealing performance. It is easy to operate and has a reliable heat sealing quality when sealing.

Compared with APET, PETG does not crystallize under very high molding temperatures. For vacuum forming, even a clear outline of complex properties can be obtained.

The chemical stability of PETG is the same as that of APET.
